This AR experience brings one of football’s most fabled places back to life: Anfield’s Boot Room. 

Liverpool F.C’s iconic (and closed to the public) ‘Boot Room’ existed until 1993. Now it’s back in AR. Enter and experience a unique view on the iconic moments from Liverpool F.C. in the Boot Room.

storytelling through authenticity 

The look & feel is based on the years Paisley was the LFC manager, 1974 to 1983. An extensive research of the boot room gave us an idea of the look and the objects present in the space during these years. Extra elements were added to create interaction opportunities.

MAPPING THE ROOM

the room and its walls were mapped out based on the research, in order to define the objects and their position in space

legendary manager Bob Paisley was recreated digitally to be the host of the experience
